	　　細部來說，估算每日咖啡因攝取量時須注意的是，使用天然原料作爲咖啡因來源的飲料，如咖啡，雖然市售產品名稱皆雷同，每份咖啡因含量卻會因爲原料品種、產地、加工製備方法或是份量大小不一，使得每份飲品的咖啡因含量有很大的差別。 以市售現煮咖啡爲例，由於份量大小尚未標準化而有所差異，不同的咖啡品項、所使用咖啡豆的來源與製備過程中產生的差異等，使得每杯現煮咖啡的咖啡因含量可能從低於100毫克至超過300毫克皆有。</div>

	　　行政院消保會2006年8月間以行政指導方式對大型連鎖咖啡店推動現煮咖啡之每杯咖啡因含量標示措施，以&ldquo;紅色&rdquo;標示代表咖啡因含量爲201毫克以上；&ldquo;黃色&rdquo;標示爲咖啡因含量101～200毫克；&ldquo; 綠色&rdquo;標示爲咖啡因含量100毫克以下，提供消費者簡單判斷的方式，此標示可見於門市明顯處或店家網站，當時並未規定須於個別產品的外包裝標示。</div>

	　　2007年時衛生署（現今衛福部）公告要求含有咖啡因成分且有容器或包裝之飲料，應於個別產品外包裝標示咖啡因含量，且規定咖啡因含量不可列入營養標示中，以免使消費者誤認咖啡因爲營養成份。 液態飲料的咖啡因含量是以每100毫升所含咖啡因之毫克數爲標示方式，低於20毫克者，可標示爲&ldquo;20 mg/100mL以下&rdquo;，等於或低於20毫克者，得以標示&ldquo;低咖啡因&rdquo;取代&ldquo;20 mg/100mL以下&rdquo;。 而如&ldquo;速溶小包裝咖啡&rdquo;此類需沖泡之粉末產品，則以每一食用份量所含咖啡因毫克爲標示方法。 爲更有效方便辨識，歐盟規定若每100毫升飲品咖啡因含量超過15毫克必須加上警語：&ldquo;高咖啡因含量，不建議孩童、懷孕或哺乳中婦女飲用&rdquo;，非飲料的其他食品也有類似的管理規定。</div>

	　　值得提醒消費者注意的是，除了含咖啡因飲料之外，有些食品也隱藏着相當份量的咖啡因，譬如以巧克力原料製成的餅乾、蛋糕或冰激凌等，另外膳食補充劑、藥品等也可能含有咖啡因，但普遍含量並不高。 若您是巧克力愛好者的話，在品嚐享用的同時，也需留意相關數據，譬如一片80公克巧克力蛋糕的咖啡因含量可達36毫克，而一片28公克巧克力糖果也可達19毫克，但一杯240毫升的巧克力飲品則在10毫克以下。</div>
